Is the Mayor aware that access for people with physical disabilities to Britain's busiest railway station, Clapham Junction, is by an "evacuation" chair, which must be carried up and down stairs by railway staff, which is inefficient, dangerous and humiliating for the disabled person. This is by no means an isolated example. What measures will the Mayor take to increase access for people with disabilities to public transport? Will the Mayor ask Transport for London to look at possible improvements at Clapham Junction?
