I note that RAF Northolt is about to undergo a £45 million renovation - without local consultation - which could pave the way for it to become a fully-fledged regional commercial airport. Despite a cross party coalition of MPs, AMs and 3,000 people in West London demanding answers on the MoD's intentions at Northolt, there is still no sign that they are willing to hold a proper consultation. What representations has the Mayor made to the Secretary of State for Defence to encourage him to hold a meaningful consultation with local residents?

Will you make representations to the Government regarding making the London Ambulance Service democratically accountable - in much the same way as the Metropolitan Police and London Fire Brigade are already?

I note that your Draft London Plan proposes ripping up existing planning rules and calls on homebuilders to develop sites at higher housing densities to substantially increase housing capacity in the capital. This will in my view inevitably lead to the loss of local character in many areas, yet I note that nowhere do you mention why we need to build 65,000 new homes a year in London. Why do you think London needs all these new homes each and every year?

I note the article in The Guardian on 16 October 2017, which stated: 'The Metropolitan Police are to stop investigating many lower level crimes as a result of spending cuts, a senior police officer has said. In MQ 2017/2694 I asked you 'what property assets were inherited by the National Police Chiefs' Council from its predecessor body, the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) and a) what is their value and b) their disposal.' I note the announcement in The Independent of 10 October 2017, that the Mayor is going to tour the Indian Sub-Continent later this year: 'to promote business and cultural ties between the two countries and the capital.' On 6 October 2017, it was reported in The Times that the Amsterdam-based financial services company TMF Group is to list on the London stock market and move its headquarters to Britain, in a £1 billion flotation that marks a big boost for the City. TMF Group said that it aimed to raise roughly €340 million in a premium listing on the main market of the London Stock Exchange. Will the Mayor join with me once again in congratulating the City of London in maintaining its position as the world's leading financial centre - despite Brexit.

I distinctly recall Mayor Ken Livingstone leading London's Pride Parade in 2004, in the company of the actor and national treasure Sir Ian McKellen.
