A petition was presented on 24 July 2013 at a Plenary meeting of the Assembly on behalf of my constituents in Bexley opposing the proposal by the Royal Borough of Greenwich to introduce controlled parking in the Avery Hill and Falconwood areas. If this scheme were approved there are concerns it would cause terrible parking issues for residents living across the border from the proposed zone. Can you give me a time frame for when a decision will made on whether this scheme should be permitted?

Following the introduction of this new scheme to help volunteers clean up their local areas, does the Mayor also agree that local businesses, especially takeaway outlets, should also take more direct responsibility for the waste generated by their customers?
