Is the Mayor concerned by reports of at least three cable thefts from Queen Mary's Hospital in Sidcup this year, delaying vital operations and costing thousands of pounds to replace? Is the Mayor also concerned by the wider problem of theft from hospitals across London, including £220,000 worth of medical equipment from North West London hospitals in the financial year 2010/11 and over £250,000 of medical equipment from Central Middlesex Hospital last year? Will the Mayor ensure that everything possible is done by the police to address this serious problem?
