  • Priorities for the OPDC (Supplementary) [3]

    • Question by: Tom Copley
    • Meeting date: 08 March 2017
Tom Copley AM: My next question perhaps is more for David [Bellamy] or Fiona. The report from the review recommends that public land is potentially wholly transferred to the GLA. To what extent does central Government recognise the complexities of the land and what discussions had the Mayor had around the proposal of land transfer?
  • Nominee Passes

    • Reference: 2015/1950
    • Question by: Andrew Boff
    • Meeting date: 17 June 2015
Research by my office has discovered that 8.4 million journeys were taken last year by those with nominee passes. This amounts to £22.2m every year in lost fare revenues. Do you think that this is flagrant waste of taxpayers' money in a time of such fiscal constraint?
  • Waltham Diving Facilities

    • Reference: 2015/0391
    • Question by: Andrew Boff
    • Meeting date: 21 January 2015
The Waltham Forest Pool and Track redevelopment plan does not include a renewal of the 5m diving board facilities. Is this regrettable and what impact do you think this could have on the Olympic legacy?

  • Accountability of the Mayor's Advisors (Supplementary) [11]

    • Question by: Bob Neill
    • Meeting date: 12 January 2005
I am therefore intrigued that of the 45 members of staff who work for you, as listed in the GLA intranet, not one of them has the word `transport' in their job description. All of them appear to relate to the public affairs side of the brief. How does that come about?
  • Accountability of the Mayor's Advisors (Supplementary) [12]

    • Question by: Bob Neill
    • Meeting date: 12 January 2005
They are working for her and not for you.
  • Accountability of the Mayor's Advisors (Supplementary) [13]

    • Question by: Bob Neill
    • Meeting date: 12 January 2005
Do you give instructions to those members of staff?
  • Accountability of the Mayor's Advisors (Supplementary) [14]

    • Question by: Bob Neill
    • Meeting date: 12 January 2005
How does their manager know what instructions to give for carrying out the Mayor's wishes?
  • Accountability of the Mayor's Advisors (Supplementary) [24]

    • Question by: Bob Neill
    • Meeting date: 12 January 2005
That is a very interesting example of transparency. Finally, I could not get an answer last time, but since Mr O'Neill is here, who is responsible for the editorial comment of The Londoner? You were not able to answer it last time, Mr Mayor.
