First of all, I want to congratulate all the stations that have been opened up for Crossrail. They are beautiful and they are improving step-free access, particularly the one in Southall, where we have the Punjabi language signage, which reflects the cultural value of Southall. I want to congratulate TfL for doing that. I also want to ask - this caused a lot of excitement - when we will see Crossrail fully functioning. Can you give us an update on Crossrail, please?

    As part of the co-responding work, do you collect data in relation to both LAS and LFB response times, including the time differential between LFB’s arrival and LAS’s arrival at an incident, where LFB are the first on the scene? If so, are you aware of any improvements in LAS attendance times?

    Chair, will you agree with me that it is not unknown when an organisation is going through a transformation that it often gets an interim chief executive? It is not unheard of getting interim chief executives, particularly when organisations are moving from one sort of values to possibly a different set of values. The cost cannot be measured merely in terms of money but also value in terms of what you get in the interim chief executive. Would you think that would be a consideration playing on the mind of the A&U Committee?
