  • Question and Answer Session: Policing (Supplementary) [6]

    • Question by: Lord Bailey of Paddington
    • Meeting date: 01 December 2022
Shaun Bailey AM: Thank you, Chair. Trust and confidence in the police in the Black community is at an all-time low, and we can all agree that disproportionality is a big part of that. The disproportionality is the rate at which our children get murdered, and the amount of Black children and people who are involved as both perpetrator and victim of crime. Given this, what plan do the police have to take some of these weapons off the streets? I address that to Sir Mark first.

    • Question by: Lord Bailey of Paddington
    • Meeting date: 09 June 2022
Shaun Bailey AM: Morning to our guests. Can I address my question to the Mayor? It has been reported in a number of places in the press that a supposed whistle-blower has talked about a metal box that could explode and cause the doors on the new Elizabeth line trains to fly off. Are you aware of these claims and how accurate are they?
  • Question and Answer Session: Transport for London (Supplementary) [8]

    • Question by: Lord Bailey of Paddington
    • Meeting date: 02 September 2021
Shaun Bailey AM: Good morning, Mr Mayor. Good morning, Commissioner. A question to the Mayor. One of the options for Londoners who cannot afford the rise in the ULEZ, the expansion, is to join car clubs, especially in outer London where cars are still quite heavily used. Are we doing enough to promote this kind of activity? Are you working on that?
