    Emma Best AM: Thanks, Fiona and Andy, for what has been a very transparent session so far today. My question to you is whether you could explain to me the capacity the fire department has to respond to planning applications and procedurally how that works for you when those applications come in.

    Sem Moema AM: Thank you, Chair, I will do my best. I am really pleased to see the work that the LFB does with local authorities and civil servants. I have seen your work helping Hackney identify buildings at risk and to put in place those mitigations. The Grenfell incident had a huge impact and has really changed the way in which the LFB has had to work.
