Mr Mayor, on 25 July there was an item on Crossrail in the private section of the TfL Board, which you chair, as well as the public section. Were any concerns raised? As Simon has outlined, the programme is building up and you are getting concerned. Were any concerns raised there about the possibility of delay in the opening?

Caroline Russell AM: OK. I am going to ask Mike now. The status quo on Oxford Street is not OK. We know that urgent attention is needed to deal even with the current overcrowding, let alone with the overcrowding that will come from the new Crossrail passengers. Has TfL done a Healthy Streets check on Oxford Street in its current condition, and if not, will you?

Mr Mayor, can I raise the issue of sectarian tensions in London from the Middle East conflicts between Sunni and Shia? I welcome the comments you made to Andrew Boff AM that you do not want to see international disputes come to the streets of London. In the past 15 months I have seen a number of incidents which concern me. The first was raised by Lebanese businesses on the Edgware Road about Anjem Choudary’s [cleric] mob inciting clearly religious hatred aimed at Shias. Was it your suggestion, the sums of money you were going to acquire as a consultant and the one-off payment? If you add up the sums, as far as we know, you will be earning in the first two years just as much as you were before, but working less. Was that your terms or was that the Mayor's terms?

I would like to return to your reasons for leaving TfL early. Obviously there has been a lot of press speculation about the fact that maybe you had disagreed and fallen out with the Mayor. That would not be surprising because I would expect that you would have some disagreements over working together for that amount of time. Could you just tell us what your most significant disagreement has been with the Mayor?

Could you tell us how many crates of claret, how many rooms at the Savoy, how many transatlantic flights, how many gold-plated telephones you get as part of your contract?
