What are your priorities in relation to the London 2012 City Operations Programme, and what do you think the key challenges and risks will be?
  • The Mayor's draft Housing Strategy (Supplementary) [3]

    • Question by: Jennette Arnold OBE
    • Meeting date: 24 October 2007
Neale, it was clarity we were looking for. Alan Benson, Head of Housing, met with Members - certainly of my Group - and we welcome that and we feel that we fed in and we can see, in the Strategy, issues of concern to us that have been addressed, but what we wanted to get was what difference this is going to make so that the current situation is not going to really improve; the Mayor does not have a power to actually deal with this issue.
  • The Mayor's draft Housing Strategy (Supplementary) [4]

    • Question by: Jennette Arnold OBE

  • The Mayor's draft Housing Strategy (Supplementary) [5]

    • Question by: Jennette Arnold OBE
    • Meeting date: 24 October 2007
I do not know that that answers the question because, from what you have said, it does not appear that he does have any powers to use directly in relation to this issue about boroughs who do not take up their grant, because you were saying that you would then wait to use the planning powers.

    • Question by: Jennette Arnold OBE
    • Meeting date: 07 December 2005
This is a specific question, and Darren (Johnson, AM) and I are dealing with an issue at the moment: if a planning application is being sought within a particular borough, say Waltham Forest, are locals to seek their first interaction with the borough planners rather than go to the LDA or go to the GLA? What is the route?
  • Flooding (Supplementary) [8]

    • Question by: Jennette Arnold OBE
    • Meeting date: 07 December 2005
Could I come back and say, within the Olympic Park, whose 106 is that now that the LDA has purloined it?
  • Olympic Legacy (Supplementary) [2]

    • Question by: Jennette Arnold OBE
    • Meeting date: 08 September 2005
Yes, was that a big `yes'?
  • Olympic Legacy (Supplementary) [6]

    • Question by: Jennette Arnold OBE
    • Meeting date: 08 September 2005
I must ask you about East Marsh. I cannot meet you without asking this question. Sally Hamwee (Chair): If it is about legacy. Jennette Arnold (AM): It is about legacy. Can you, once again, assure the people of Hackney that East Marsh will be restored to parkland after the Olympic Games? Are you able to give a timescale for this and for the further improvements that have been promised, specifically, a land bridge, improved football facilities, and replacement land for the Arena Fields?
  • Silverlink Metro Services (Supplementary) [1]

    • Question by: Jennette Arnold OBE
    • Meeting date: 06 April 2005
I want to focus on the North London Line, which is absolutely important for London but also crucial for the constituency I represent, Hackney, Islington and Waltham Forest. If we just look at the Hackney and Islington part of it, you can see why we welcome the ambitions and the funding that are being proposed for the North London Line. Can you repeat what you were saying about your meeting with the Department for Transport? Are you saying that you were discussing a plan B, for instance, if the Railway Bill does not make it? What sort of timescales were...
