We on the Transport Committee have been asking a lot of questions about riverboats and the potential for development of public transport services on the river as part of the Transport Strategy. Although we hear there are issues and competition with tourist boats, nobody has said anything to me that actually explains why we do not have a major programme of development of river transport to supplement our public transport services. It seems to me to be a matter of political and management will not being there. Is this something you are going to take on board? If not, why...
