Tom Copley AM: My next question perhaps is more for David [Bellamy] or Fiona. The report from the review recommends that public land is potentially wholly transferred to the GLA. To what extent does central Government recognise the complexities of the land and what discussions had the Mayor had around the proposal of land transfer?
I know that borough leaders are aware of this, and perhaps there can be some liaison with the boroughs, as well, through the Association of London Government (ALG).
To what extent will the work of the Architecture and Urbanism Unit be supported by consultants? How much will this cost and what steps will be taken to ensure that conflicts of interest do not arise? .
What visible public space improvements can Londoners expect to see in the next three years, as a result of the work of the Architecture and Urbanism Unit? .
