    May I say I believe it to be extremely mean-minded of Jennette Arnold to criticise you, Mr Mayor, in acting on behalf of the citizenry of London. I have to say that when you as super-Mayor intervened earlier last week, my heart lifted, and I very much hope that that is going to be an example to Londoners in the future and I very much hope that we do not get prosecutions by police of those good citizens --

    The public sessions of the LDA board concentrate mainly upon incidental discussions about strategies of the LDA and other GLA family members.     Thank you very much, Mr Barlow. Actually I am not terribly encouraged at all. Although the public probably won't even attend, as we all know what happens when we do open public bodies to public attendance, the public would merely like to know that they can come if they wish to come and they probably wouldn't even disturb you. So I'm not sure that there is anything to be frightened of in opening the thing up to the public.
