Will the withdrawal of Transport for London funds for police enforcement and education work on road safety lead to an increase in casualties?

With the proposed closure of the Commercial Vehicle Education Unit, will current levels of enforcement continue, i.e. will there be specialised officers carrying our roadside checks on at least 3,000 vehicles a year, detecting legal infringements to date in around 80% of them?

Apart from areas where you have got terms and conditions that you cannot change, are you expecting every single part of the Metropolitan Police Service to make 5% to 10% cuts? Are there any areas where there will not be cuts?
