    Caroline Pidgeon MBE AM: My questions are to start off with to John O’Brien. I want to ask about support for businesses in London, with a particular focus on the restaurant industry. According to data from the Office for National Statistics, as of July last year there were nearly 16,000 restaurants in London employing around 325,000 people. Clearly, the sector has been hit very hard by COVID-19.     OK. I want to go back, Commissioner, to the point about fire safety and fires in London, which you mentioned there. The latest performance figures clearly show that the number of serious fires have been rising over the last year across the capital; we have seen an increase in fires in dwellings by around 7% and an increase in non-domestic fires around 17% which is concerning, given the trends previously. We are now seeing it reversed. What changes are you going to make to respond to this worrying trend?

    Why have you offered up more savings for the financial year 2009/10 than the Mayor was seeking in his budget guidance issued earlier this Autumn?
