First of all I would like to address a question to Sir John, referring to another John, John Dickie, from John Kavanagh’s organisation [BusinessLDN], has stated that cutting back on HS2 is a false economy and it will lead to increased costs in the future. What are your observations on this?

What new information did you receive that led you to reverse your previous decision on Patterson Park? Where are the two pieces of land which you feel are compensation for the loss of green space of Patterson Park? .
