    Prior to the election, I was a member of that Gold group, and I know how I was going to be ferried in to whichever point was possible. It is not always possible to get in to Scotland Yard, but there will be that gap when the international media are absolutely, totally hungry for news, as will be Londoners and the rest of the UK. Someone has to fill that gap, and I am asking, 'who?'

    Given that the Mayor's London Plan and the Olympic Bid are dependent on the building of CrossRail, why has CrossRail been delayed and how do you envisage (i) London's development occuring and (ii) the Olympic Bid succeeding without this investment? .

    At a meeting with Ealing's residents in January the Mayor promised a full consultation prior to any decision on the West London Tram. Since then an interview with Tim Jones, (TfL), printed in the Gazette, suggested that this project will go ahead irrespective of local residents concerns and the Mayor blatantly disregarded the views of local residents in the TfL meeting on 18 Feb. Despite this, the TfL response to the Ealing residents petition (published on 26 Feb) stated that the Mayor would meet with Save Ealing Streets to listen to their concerns and that the decision on whether this...
