Caroline Russell AM: Commissioner, I know you are aware of the great work going on in Iceland reducing violence and murder. I mentioned it to you informally earlier this year. Between 2005 and 2018, Iceland recorded just 24 murders. Over the same time period, London recorded 1,862 murders. Caroline Russell AM: My questions are for the Deputy Mayor for Culture Justine Simons and are specifically about issues facing Londoners in creative industries, and the part the culture sector may play in the recovery process. At Tuesday’s Economy Committee meeting [2 March 2021], you talked about the scale of the impact the pandemic has had on London’s creative workers.
