    Caroline Russell AM: I want to put my question to Daniel Bridge, the Programme Director for the Royal Docks team. City Airport sits in the heart of the Royal Docks Enterprise Zone. What impact is it having on the health of people already living in the area, and are you doing any work to address this?

My first question is: who actually owns the land that The Crystal is on? Is it one of the GLA’s pocket strategic development sites? Is it owned by the developer Advanced Business Park?     Last week it was revealed that there were over 3,000 train journeys where Londoners could have claimed compensation because their train was late or cancelled. But only 15% of people who could claim actually did. Do you think that train operators and TfL should do more to promote the fact that commuters can receive compensation for late or cancelled journeys?

Obviously, we all recognise the need for housing, but there is a danger that we create a false dichotomy between the use of land for housing and the use of land for other purposes. Does the Plan recognise and deal with the tension between the need to provide land for housing and the need for all other uses including employment and infrastructure?

    Jenny Jones AM: On this substantive issue, I am very concerned that you are actually releasing too much industrial land because the vacancy rate on industrial land has actually halved in the past 15 years and is now lower than retail vacancies. I am concerned that you are talking about surplus land when, actually, it is not surplus because small businesses still need to be near centres of population and they still need to be near town centres. I just wonder how much research you have done on this.
