The Commissioner has said that he wants a new approach to stop and search. He told the Metropolitan Police Authority last year that he hoped to have a new policy in place for the New Year, and he told us last time he was here that that is still his view, but that there would be some consultation with communities and with ourselves and the stakeholders about that new approach. Darren Johnson (Deputy Chair): Assembly Member Biggs has a point of order. John Biggs (AM): The Chair told us there was a standing order about making assertions for which there was no evidence. Now, the Mayor has at the one time made an assertion for which he has evidence that he can cut council tax. Now he has made another assertion that on fares, he can make no such commitment. Yes, I do have some questions about the flawed police investigation that followed the fatal stabbing of Stephen Lawrence 19 years ago. Mr Coleman, you touched on it just at the end of your answer to Tony Arbour's question about the bulk purchasing power. Can we be assured that the prices in the Look Book will be no more expensive because we don't have a brilliant track record of monopoly suppliers giving best value to purchasers? Can we ensure we fully utilise our joint purchasing power to ensure those prices are not going to be any higher than would be normally available on the commercial market?
