You have talked about the climate change disbenefits of expansion and current airport use. Have you also looked at the economic benefits of actually using that site for low-carbon industry rather than for airport use and the economic benefits from that?
The Mayor has previously told the Assembly that London City Airport should be returned to non-airport use after Crossrail is built. Is the LDA actually doing some detailed work now, looking at a post-airport scenario for the land?
Acknowledging that brownfield land can have environmental value and community value, when you are dealing with development decisions currently, how do you take that into account?
What urgent action will the LDA take to measure and remedy the huge shortfall in skills in the London workforce required to deliver exemplary standards of sustainable design and construction in all major new development throughout London? Does the LDA agree that such action should be seen as a major priority in simultaneously addressing unemployment and low skills in the London workforce and delivering environmental objectives for climate change and waste minimisation? .
