    You made a public statement, I think it was a month or so ago, saying that if you were Mayor you would take a more radical approach on waste and recycling than the current Mayor. If that's the case, what changes would you like to see made to the Waste Strategy to make it a more radical vision?

    I understand that and I'm grateful for it reflecting the view of the Conservative Party at the last General Election in our manifesto. And can I, therefore, take it that the Mayor and the Deputy Mayor will continue to support Bexley Council and their opposition to a particular proposal in that borough?

    Thank you. Now we've got Commander Shave there Chairman, I wonder if you can't answer this, perhaps he can. Does the Mayor expect next year, when he's going to get 240 for his transport initiative, for there to be a first call on police manpower, the extra officers going into the borough?
