Andrew Dismore AM: Thank you, Chair. I would like to raise the issue of connectivity and broadband, which does not seem to be moving on particularly well. A few weeks ago, Emily Thornberry [Member of Parliament (MP) for Islington South and Finsbury] raised in Parliament an example she had of a business in central London taking nine hours to upload a two-and-a-half-minute film, which is not particularly helpful. In fact, I have a residents group in Kensington and Chelsea that is extremely dismayed that it seems to be that others are moving ahead on this agenda. It would be extremely helpful in forwarding this issue if the LEP and Assembly Members could really look carefully at the amended London Plan. I argued on behalf of the Planning Committee that we should have symmetrical high-speed broadband as the new utility delivered to all new developments. Sorry to interrupt. I appreciate this. What I am trying to get at here is this is a legacy not only for London but the UK Olympic Games. It seems rather crude that we are having to rely upon external sponsorship that may have its own kickbacks where we do not have direct funding from our Government on an education programme that I think is crucial to leave any purposeful legislation --

One of the parts of this question is about reputational risk and, Seb, in your speech when you secured the Games - I think one of the high points - was you talking about the legacy for young people in sport. One former Olympian said to me a few days ago that he was rather worried he did not see enough progress going on in this regard in setting things up for young people to secure the legacy.
