  • Risks associated with cutting police budgets (Supplementary) [5]

    • Question by: James Cleverly
    • Meeting date: 17 October 2012
James Cleverly (AM): Thank you, Chair. I had hoped to subtly remind you that my understanding is that Members were here to ask questions of the Mayor and receive answers from the Mayor. Unfortunately, there have been a number of occasions where Labour Members have finished their line of questioning with a statement and you have curtailed the Mayor's attempts to answer the implied questions in those statements. If we are envisaging a change of standing orders where Members are allowed to make parting shots or closing statements, whatever you want to call them, perhaps you could inform the Assembly...

  • GLA Bill Amendments (Supplementary) [12]

    • Question by: Brian Coleman
    • Meeting date: 13 December 2006
Madam Deputy Mayor, on a point of order. Unfortunately I do not think we did agree it unanimously, I think the One London Group were opposed to that if my memory serves me right.
  • Carbon Reduction Targets (Supplementary) [3]

    • Question by: Roger Evans
    • Meeting date: 17 April 2006
No, the question to the Mayor is: Why did the Deputy Mayor disagree with the answer which you just gave?
  • Cleaner Neighbourhoods (Supplementary) [2]

    • Question by: Andrew Pelling
    • Meeting date: 21 May 2003
I am always very pleased to hear positive comments about Croydon. I met with the wardens myself when I was out engaging with the good people of New Addington on Saturday afternoon. There was always a danger with mayoral candidates who inevitably have to pay brief visits to areas as to whether or not they get fully briefed.
