Caroline Pidgeon MBE AM: My questions are to start off with to John O’Brien. I want to ask about support for businesses in London, with a particular focus on the restaurant industry. According to data from the Office for National Statistics, as of July last year there were nearly 16,000 restaurants in London employing around 325,000 people. Clearly, the sector has been hit very hard by COVID-19. Léonie Cooper AM: My first question is to David Bellamy and it is about the balance between lives and livelihoods. Many politicians and commentators have portrayed the journey out of lockdown as a trade-off between the economy and health and between lives and livelihoods. Do you agree that this is a false distinction and that there cannot really be a full economic recovery without the public being confident that going about daily life is safe?

Mr Mayor, can I raise the issue of sectarian tensions in London from the Middle East conflicts between Sunni and Shia? I welcome the comments you made to Andrew Boff AM that you do not want to see international disputes come to the streets of London. Do you not find that they are absolutely grotesque to look at? I am a great one for doing what can be done but I also believe that the best way to encourage people to do the right thing is to make it possible for them to do the right thing. Is it not going to be absolutely vital that we get these light bulbs designed in a way that is acceptable to people because the light is appalling and they look absolutely grotesque?

Given that the Assembly's Environment Committee investigation into the barriers that ordinary Londoners faced in terms of greening their homes showed that one of the biggest barriers that Londoners faced, even though they were enthusiastic about wanting to do something, was the lack of practical advice and information, does it not suggest that the comparatively low take-up we have seen so far suggests we need a more aggressive marketing campaign that reaches Londoners rather than less emphasis on marketing and getting the message out?
