Susan Hall AM: Chair, I wanted to say how disappointed we all are that yet again Mayor [Sadiq] Khan has declined to attend this meeting. Caroline Russell AM: My questions are for the Deputy Mayor for Culture Justine Simons and are specifically about issues facing Londoners in creative industries, and the part the culture sector may play in the recovery process. At Tuesday’s Economy Committee meeting [2 March 2021], you talked about the scale of the impact the pandemic has had on London’s creative workers.
