Roger Evans AM: No doubt at an advanced age by that time, they can travel east to sample the delights of outer east London. One of the great things about outer London for tourists, of course, is that it is less polluted and less noisy than inner London. It provides a bit of a haven for them. Roger Evans AM: I would like to return to the debate about building links with the Indian market here in London. Recently I spoke at the World Hindu Economic Forum and also at Diwali in the Square and I was struck on both of those occasions by the size and the enthusiasm of London’s population of Hindus and Sikhs with Indian roots. What is L&P doing to use that enthusiasm and those existing links to benefit the city and to encourage more development?

What you are saying, though ' and I can understand the imperatives ' is basically that the transport needs of the Olympics, those couple of weeks, are going to be paramount over the transport needs of Londoners, as interpreted by TfL. How will a dispute of that sort be resolved?

What if the OTA has a dispute with the boroughs and the roads that they operate? Who resolves that problem, then?

Just so we can understand what are the implications of that, you talk about developing an Olympic road network. Is that just going to be roads which are currently part of the TfL strategic road network, or do you see that network including a lot more borough roads and being a lot wider?
