Murad Qureshi AM: Sir Edward, can I bring up the particular issue of subterranean basement developments? Last night I heard from residents of Bayswater that they have had 15 of these developments in the last 18 months. It has caused sinkholes, flooding and structural damage to properties. What is the Met doing to address brutally violent attacks against women in London, both in their homes and on our streets? Why has the conviction rate for rape fallen from 24% to 6%, when the numbers of reported rapes have trebled in the last decade?
