I wanted to ask you about the role of consultants at the MPA. We see that there is a budget reduction on external consultants. We also know that there are many hundreds of consultants at the MPA, many of whom we're not quite sure what they're doing; consulting on each other, reviewing each other's reviews and all the rest of these wonderful things consultants get to do. Perhaps you can tell us how the savings are going to be made and are we going to get value for money on their work in the next year?

Yes I meant MPS sorry, a slight slip of the tongue. That sounds great, but then are we going to have more consultants to manage the review of consultants? Exactly how is it going to happen and who is it going to be lead by? Where will we end up with the actual results, figures, performance indicators and all the rest of it, so we actually know that we have got the right level of consultants? What is the knock on effects of trying to accommodate over 2,000 extra officers over two years without suffering severe operational difficulties? .

You touched on your visits around the boroughs, Toby. Perhaps you could tell us how many borough visits you've now actually completed and how do you intend to both use and share this knowledge that you've gained on your visits round the boroughs with both us and perhaps even, dare I say, the wider public?

Thank you for that very detailed answer. I think maybe we will have to agree to disagree on the London Plan. I know it's something that Assembly members generally are very concerned about. You touched on the SDS. How do you see the two strategies - the Economic Development Strategy and the SDS then - dove-tailing in together as we go through the draft? Perhaps you could specifically tell us what work is actually being done on those to make sure they do dove-tail in together? Are press reports correct that some innocent bystanders, including German tourists with a plane to catch, were kept penned in Oxford Street for several hours on 1st May? If so, what explanation has he been given for this apparently inflexible approach by the Police? .
