  • South West Trains

    • Reference: 2015/4359
    • Question by: Richard Tracey
    • Meeting date: 16 December 2015
With South West Trains' operating contract ending in July 2017, what work is TfL doing to maximise the chances of it taking control of South West London's commuter rail network?
  • Compensation for train delays and cancellations

    • Reference: 2015/1961
    • Question by: Richard Tracey
    • Meeting date: 17 June 2015
Last week it was revealed that there were over 3,000 train journeys where Londoners could have claimed compensation because their train was late or cancelled. But only 15% of people who could claim actually did. Do you think that train operators and TfL should do more to promote the fact that commuters can receive compensation for late or cancelled journeys?
  • Proposal to Designate a Mayoral Development Area (Supplementary) [5]

    • Question by: Stephen Knight
    • Meeting date: 17 December 2014
Stephen Knight AM: Just one quick point and that is, is it legally possible to spend Section 106 or CIL money outside the boundary of a planning authority?
  • Proposal to Designate a Mayoral Development Area (Supplementary) [6]

    • Question by: Murad Qureshi
    • Meeting date: 17 December 2014
Murad Qureshi AM: Can I raise two or three issues. The first one, Eddie, I am grateful that you mentioned the canals at the outset. It is just unfortunate they do not show up on the maps. I have no doubts that residential developers will be eying those canal sides very eagerly, because I suspect they can enhance the values of the developments by up to 40%. That is the residential side. However, I am more concerned that they are used during the works construction on the site. I think this is going to be a huge development site, over...
  • Proposal to Designate a Mayoral Development Area (Supplementary) [9]

    • Question by: Jennette Arnold OBE
    • Meeting date: 17 December 2014
Jenette Arnold OBE (Deputy Chair): I have a couple of questions, one for Sir Eddie, and one for Victoria Hills. Sir Eddie, in your introduction you mentioned that the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) master plan was similar to the blueprint adopted by the LLDC. I know, as one of the three Assembly Members for the area covered by the LLDC, and was heavily involved in the consultation and now I keep a very strong watching brief on what is going on, that many aspects of the LLDC’s vision has changed. For instance, the LLDC plan started...
  • Proposal to Designate a Mayoral Development Area (Supplementary) [11]

    • Question by: Richard Tracey
    • Meeting date: 17 December 2014
Richard Tracey AM: Thank you, Mr Chairman. Edward, can I first of all thank you for organising for the letter to Kit Malthouse [AM] about Wormwood Scrubs, which of course has been circulated to all of us. All of us on this side have received emails from many people who certainly were not constituents of ours but had some concerns, so I think it has helped very much to clarify, and I am grateful to Kit for writing to the Mayor about it. First of all though, I was going to say there is a lot of experience in this...
  • Jack Lemley (Supplementary) [1]

    • Question by: Dee Doocey
    • Meeting date: 15 November 2006
Thank you. My last question is about the budget. I understand that the budget has not been finalised, but you should surely realise that the reason we have so much concern around here is because we have not got any information. The job we are being paid to do is to monitor the delivery of the Games. We cannot actually monitor it if we do not have the budget, because we do not know whether you are going above it or below it. Now you have said that the budget that you have asked for is significantly higher than the...
  • Jack Lemley (Supplementary) [2]

    • Question by: Dee Doocey
    • Meeting date: 15 November 2006
I would like to know what plans are in place to make sure that the same mistakes do not happen again when there is a new Chairman appointed. I think it is very clear, certainly to me, that Mr Lemley has done much more damage to his own reputation by his extraordinary behaviour since he left, than could ever have been done by the involvement with the Games. I wanted to know how it was going to be made sure that whoever is appointed next time, and whoever is going to appoint them - presumably the Mayor and the Secretary...
  • Jack Lemley (Supplementary) [4]

    • Question by: Bob Neill
    • Meeting date: 15 November 2006
I might have to ask elsewhere. Let us get it in context. We now know that he had expressed concerns - I think was your phrase - that the project was not on track. This is not a rogue member of the Board, this is the person who is the Chair of the Authority expressing those concerns. What specifically were the concerns that he raised?
  • Jack Lemley (Supplementary) [5]

    • Question by: John Biggs
    • Meeting date: 15 November 2006
Two questions. Firstly, would you agree that in the light of a major project such as this it would be surprising if it was not the case that there would be some changes in personnel and some clashes of personality along the way?
