    When Heathrow Terminal 5 opens, approximately 29,000 people will work there. TfL's decision to introduce no extra bus routes from Hayes (350), Southall (482) and Northolt in my constituency will prevent and discourage both commuters and customers from using public transport to travel to Heathrow from Ealing and Hillingdon. Would the Commissioner of Transport for London please reconsider his position?

    Thank you for that. It is intended to be a constructive question as well as asking about constructive engagement. I think I have been asked to do it so that it was not Geoff [Pope] getting at you all the way through the meeting! I am glad to hear that because that was not one of the suggestions that was agreed before, and perhaps that can be taken forward both for you, as Commissioner, and others in TfL.     The closure of the Waterloo and City line after Metronet had failed to clear the dust I am told: `Still no helpful facts six hours after the incident'. The PPP Arbiter's report, that was published at 7.30 am, I understand that Members and Members' staff were excluded from TfL's press conference at 11.30am and were not able to talk to TfL until 1pm the following day.
