In the June 2020 DEFRA report, Estimation of changes in air pollution emissions, concentrations and exposure during the COVID-19 outbreak in the UK, experts said that: “it would not be surprising if there was a link between exposure to air pollution (past or present) and the occurrence or severity of COVID-19 infection.” Given this, will you look at extending the boundaries of the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) out to the existing Low Emission Zone boundary to improve and expand the reduction in NO 2 already seen within the current ULEZ borders?
