    A member of a Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust WhatsApp group said that any doctor who has a visa sponsored by the Trust and decides to go on strike will be reported by the Trust to the Border Force. The Trust has since clarified that they are fully supportive of everyone’s right to strike without judgement, fear or consequence. As Chair of the London Health Board, will you reiterate to London’s health and care leadership that such threats are unacceptable?

It suspects much of this rise is owing to impacts of the pandemic, including Long Covid and the increase in NHS waiting lists.
