    Further to Question 1120/2013, how many Londoners have been exempt from the benefit cap since losing their job in London, and in Enfield and Haringey?

    In the first two months after the benefit cap was introduced in Enfield, 15 families with 46 children were moved out of London and the Enfield Council estimate that 2,700 families, including 4,000 children are currently financially worse off as a result of the Government's changes to housing benefit. Do you think this is acceptable? What are you doing to ensure that more people are not forced to relocate out of London as a result of the benefit cap?

    The Citizen's Advice Bureau (CAB) in Haringey have seen a 50 per cent increase in people seeking help and advice, with the two CAB offices helping 2,304 people seeking advice on benefits and debt problems in the three months to June - 726 more than the same period last year. Haringey CAB believes this is a direct result of the implementation of the benefit cap. Do you agree that the benefit cap is adversely affecting Londoners?

    Positive Youth News in Haringey have been working hard to change the negative stereotypes often attributed to young people by the media and society, this particularly affected Haringey after the riots in 2011. Haringey's Borough Commander let young people take over his diary last month and is working to change these perceptions. What are you doing as Mayor to challenge the stereotyping of young people?
