  • Question and Answer Session: Transport for London (Supplementary) [12]

    • Question by: Sem Moema
    • Meeting date: 06 July 2023
Sem Moema AM: Thank you, Chair, and good morning to you, Mayor Khan and Commissioner. My question is about TfL’s delivery of its 20,000 housing target. You have got a target for 20,000 homes by 2031, of which half - I am pleased to hear - will be affordable. However, on 13 June [2023] your Finance Officer said that “the focus is on bringing forward new schemes”, so taking things through planning. Given the challenges in the housing sector at the moment with interest rates, labour issues and maybe concerns that potential partners might have about their own financial position...

    • Question by: Andrew Boff
    • Meeting date: 06 July 2023
Andrew Boff AM (Chair): Thank you. I am now going to hand over the Chairmanship to Dr Sahota [AM]. Dr Onkar Sahota (Deputy Chair in the Chair) AM: OK, Chair, over to you for your question. Andrew Boff AM: Thank you. Mr Mayor, when were you last in Uxbridge?
  • Question & Answer Session: London's Long-Term Infrastructure Needs (Supplementary) [20]

    • Question by: Andrew Boff
    • Meeting date: 08 June 2023
Andrew Boff AM (Chair): Thank you. We are almost at the end. I am going to take a liberty here. Many of you have turned up anticipating questions which you could answer. Is there any burning issue which you feel we should know about that has not been covered in these questions? It is OK to say no, this is not an appraisal. Dr King.
  • Question & Answer Session: London's Long-Term Infrastructure Needs (Supplementary) [13]

    • Question by: Sem Moema
    • Meeting date: 08 June 2023
Sem Moema AM: Thank you, Chair, and good morning to all of you. I have a lot of questions for Sir John Armitt, but I want to use the full breadth of the expert panel today. So my question is for the Deputy Mayor, Seb Dance, and it is to ask you: what are the prospects of an expansion of Hall Farm Curve and train and tube connectivity to and from Chingford?
  • Question and Answer Session: London Legacy Development Corporation (Supplementary) [1]

    • Question by: Andrew Boff
    • Meeting date: 16 March 2023
Andrew Boff AM (Deputy Chair): Thank you. Lord Hendy, when was the last time you met with the Mayor to talk about the LLDC?
  • Question and Answer Session: London Legacy Development Corporation (Supplementary) [5]

    • Question by: Sem Moema
    • Meeting date: 16 March 2023
Sem Moema AM: Thank you, Chair. Good morning to both of you. Assembly Member Berry has covered much of the issues that I wanted to ask you about, the fixed estate charge, apart from saying that I would welcome the suggestion she has made to have that review and, post powers being returned to the local authorities, that there is a mechanism in place to make sure that is ongoing and that we do not get into a situation where the fixed estate charge becomes a second service charge, which makes it unaffordable for people to live on the Park...
  • Question and Answer Session: Policing (Supplementary) [9]

    • Question by: Sem Moema
    • Meeting date: 01 December 2022
Sem Moema AM: Thank you. My first question is to Sir Mark. What support has HMICFRS been providing to the MPS since it was placed in special measures?
  • Question and Answer Session: Policing (Supplementary) [16]

    • Question by: Andrew Boff
    • Meeting date: 01 December 2022
Andrew Boff AM (Deputy Chair in the Chair): Thank you. I am now going to speak from the Chair - and, yes, the [group] clock is going. I was at a public meeting yesterday in South Hampstead; it was a packed meeting and the meeting subject was about law and order in the area. Residents there were very, very concerned about the open drug taking - in fact, open drug dealing - taking place around Finchley Road station, and aggressive begging. There was an impression amongst those present that there was a lack of visibility of the police, and some...
  • Question and Answer Session: Legacy of the 2012 London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (Supplementary) [12]

    • Question by: Sem Moema
    • Meeting date: 06 October 2022
Sem Moema AM: Thank you, Chair. Before I ask my quick question, I want to welcome Dave. Thank you for travelling all this way and I hope you get a question, but sadly my question is for Jules and Lyn. I am sorry. My question is very similar to Assembly Member Berry’s about GRT provision, but just to say that Bartrip Street was a TfL-Hackney partnership rather than the GLA’s. Perhaps you may not have been involved with that. I have been in discussion with Tom Copley [Deputy Mayor for Housing and Residential Development] about supporting the reprovision of that...
