I was very pleased that you gave publicity to the MPA's budget provision for an additional 1,050 officers and that you also at People's Question Time indicated in response to questions from my constituents that you wish to see a review the pattern of policing and resource allocation formula in London. Your support for reserving 50 % of all of London's housing sites for the development of affordable housing has been decribed as being unworkable because of the financial burden this will place on developers. The proposal is likely to discourage rather than encourage much needed house building in London. I have received a number of expressions of concern from my constituents who in seeking to return home to South London on the bus find that the bridge is packed with fully laden buses taking up to twenty minutes to cross London Bridge, partly because of the road works at the southern end of the bridge. Is there any action that the GLA could take to encourage a solution to this problem? .

Your commissioned MORI poll on the partial privatisation of the Tube included a question on the merits of re-nationalising the national rail system. Is it really fully appropriate to spend Londoners' money on garnering political views on national political issues ?
