    The Mayor has made reference recently to 'barmy' rules from Brussels. Can he confirm whether he believes that EU rules which prevent offering discounts to local lorries on the planned Thames Gateway Bridge are 'barmy', and will he confirm that nothing can be done to counter EU interference jeopardising promises made as part of a London infrastructure project?

    Will the Mayor confirm that, if he invites Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi to City Hall again or uses Authority funds for an event at which Mr Al-Qaradawi is a speaker, he will get confirmation that Mr Al-Qaradawi does not share certain views attributed to him namely: a)that it is acceptable for men to beat their disobedient wives b)that acting homosexuals should be put to death and further, that Mr Al-Qaradawi condemns those who hold or propagate such views.

    Having sent out the Consultation document to 400,000 households on the West London Tram project, there is no mention in the document of how the tram will be routed over the River Brent, between Ealing Hospital and the Hanwell Clock Tower. Will you give us precise details of what is proposed for this stretch of the route.
