    In the papers for the Underground Advisory Panel it is stated that customer fatality and major injury figures now no longer include crimes, suicides and medical conditions, whereas previously crime-related fatalities and major injuries have been included in the calculations of fatality and major injury rates. The report then goes on to state the accidental fatalities and major injuries on the Underground for the past 2 periods. However, it does not expand on crime figures.     On BBC1 London News on 29th April, Bob Kiley said `The East London line is something we could have done" and, in the same interview, that he feared `letting everyone off the hook, including the government". How do these statements fit in with your well-publicised offers to take on the funding of the East London Line extension?

    Why do new buses have windows which do not open and heating that drivers cannot turn off? Furthermore, are there any plans to install air conditioning on buses and, if so, what are they and when can we expect them to be implemented?

    Could the Mayor explain how payments from Pre-Pay Oyster Cards will be dealt with in the event of a station being evacuated? Obviously, passengers using these tickets will not be able to stop at the ticket office to have their tickets re-credited, so, being unable to `touch out" will they be charged for a journey across all 6 zones?
