  • Crystal Palace Park

    • Reference: 2005/2057
    • Question by: Darren Johnson
    • Meeting date: 16 November 2005
Section 6.3.4 of the consultation document for Crystal Palace Park states that `besides reconnecting the Park with the surroundings, the Gateways could also provide a mix of commercial and Park associated facilities to generate capital and revenue funding for the Park, to provide for the ongoing management and maintenance of the Park, and the enhance the visitor experience. Without such generators of funding it is unlikely that the whole park scheme can be implemented'. Can you provide details of which parts of the park scheme will not go ahead if any of the Gateway sites do not go ahead?

  • TLRN

    • Reference: 2005/2061
    • Question by: Jenny Jones
    • Meeting date: 16 November 2005
Do you share my concerns that the guidance being given to TfL officers on the design of schemes along the TLRN is to promote the existing share of modes, rather than to design for a future shift towards more sustainable forms of transport? Are you aware that this is resulting in cycle lanes and facilities being taken out at junctions in favour of catering for cars?
