I welcome the Health Inequalities Strategy and its recognition polyclinics will require close attention to public transport links. How did TfL work with Harrow Council and PCT to improve public transport links ahead of the opening of the Alexandra Avenue Centre for Health and Social Care? • Knowledge of Routes

    • Reference: 2009/2786
    • Question by: Navin Shah
    • Meeting date: 14 October 2009
What measures does TfL take to ensure rail replacement drivers are confident in their knowledge of the route? This seems particularly pertinent in relation to recent London Overground closures, as following the orbital rail route can involve the use of not very well known residential streets. I have had numerous pieces of casework about this, with Canonbury and Willesden Junction appearing to be particularly problematic to find. What educational measures are in place to ensure one route is always followed?

  • Top Ups at Station Ticket Offices

    • Reference: 2009/2561
    • Question by: Navin Shah
    • Meeting date: 09 September 2009
I understand TfL are currently trialing a minimum £5 top up at station ticket offices. · Will this rule apply to children, as given the level of discount, £5 can be a good deal of money for a top up? · Will station ticket offices correct incorrect tickets issued by shops and other Oyster vendors? · Will there be a minimum cash amount for refund transactions at ticket offices?
