I have been contacted by a constituent who is concerned about dangerous cycling, particularly on the part of those riding the Barclays Cycle Hire bikes. They have suggested a 'how's my riding initiative' in which the public could identify dangerous cyclists using the bikes with follow up action taken by TfL against those who break the law. Will the Mayor consider introducing such a scheme and outline measures taken to tackle dangerous cycling more generally?
