The Home Office accepted the Police Renumeration Review Body’s recommendation for an annual pay uplift of 7% for all officers up to and including the rank of assistant chief constable and commander which took effect from September. In this cost of living crisis, is this enough to tackle issues of quality and morale in the Met?
