    Mr Mayor, I am really concerned about people who cannot get a ticket. TfL is not slow in getting people who are travelling on the Underground without a ticket in front of the courts. If the machine has broken down, you have just said in reply to another question that when they get to the end of their journey they can say, `Oh there was no ticket machine working' and TfL will investigate.     What you must reduce are these banal announcements that go on and on and on all day long for hours and hours. The people who have gardens at the bottom of which an Underground train is trundling along are going quite bananas about it. There is a serious problem here, and we are all picking it up and we are passing it on to you and telling everybody it is your fault.
