The Commissioner, in the TfL Board report of 25 July [2018] stated, “Crossrail remains on course to open as planned in December”. Caroline Pidgeon MBE AM: Since we last met, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) has said that 28% of London’s construction workers are from the European Union (EU). In light of this and given that the Deputy Mayor for Housing [and Residential Development] has said an additional 13,000 construction workers are needed in the capital, perhaps, Liz, as Chairman, you could advise me, do you think there are going to be problems in getting your project built?
