Figures uncovered by Simon Hughes show that the number of homes sold in London for under £100,000 has plummeted from almost 75,000 in 1997 to just over 16,000 last year. Over the same period, only 22,736 affordable homes have been added to the housing stock. Doesn't this demonstrate that efforts during your term of office to address London's housing needs have failed to measure up to the scale of the crisis? .
