My constituents have highlighted that it important to honour the work of key workers during the COVID 19 outbreak. Is there scope to erect a permanent sculpture in a prominent London location in which the work and sacrifices which keyworkers have made can be remembered?

The Met Police’s use of stop and search has dramatically increased during the lockdown. Stop and search is a contentious method of policing as people from BAME backgrounds are more likely to be stopped. Members of the BAME community have felt that during this lockdown that the Police have been especially overzealous. Understandably both the ULEZ and Congestion Charges have been suspended during the outbreak. There are concerns that suspending the charges may have been counterintuitive and may have encouraged some drivers to drive within the ULEZ and Congestion Charge zones.
